      Remarks & Notes
The incredible 10,000 hp GM10B is awaiting a crew to take it west in the spring of 1978. This 197-ton, 73'-4" long giant rode on B-B-B trucks with 50" drivers. Never duplicated, it was scrapped by EMD in the mid 1980s, shortly after Conrail pulled the plug on its electrified freight lines.
