The ANN ARBOR name still appears on this GP 35 along with several other Diesels parked along this short stretch of track.. However, under the cab window there is a very faint sign reading MICHIGAN INTERSTATE RAILWAY COMPANY OPERATOR the firm which took over after the ANN ARBOR RAILROAD went bankrupt. When the MICHIGAN INTERSTATE ran out of funds and ceased to function, the TUSCOLA & SAGINAW BAY purchased several of these GP's and operated them on the former ANN ARBOR system north from Ann Arbor, Michigan. The AA 387 was scrapped in 2006.
