An Erie Lackawanna freight with interchange cars destined for New England pulls into the former New Haven yard at Maybrook, NY, behind a U33C/SD45 duo. When this photo was taken in June 1969 Penn Central was already rerouting this traffic away from the traditional Maybrook gateway, and within a couple years little would be left.
