    Remarks & Notes
In June of 2003 a filthy UP 5832 is leading the Eastbound MRVNPB through Troy CA. Luckily with the early morning backlighting the filthiness is hidden, yet the details of the locomotives, the power and the exhaust are highlighted.

Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
