Remarks & Notes

In late summer the idyllic Nebraska Sandhiils are alive with sunflowers. Lonely US 2 has almost every passing vehicle driver offering a friendly wave. On a subdivision dominated by coal trains, BNSF 1065 East with a Laurel-Lincoln manifest is waiting for a run of westbounds coming off a single-track segment. One of those colorful post-merger power lineups. Fuji Velvia.
