    Remarks & Notes
The Two Sides of the Business

It's not every day that the Everett Railroad's 2-6-0 #11 gets to face (timetable) westbound. In fact, she gets this treatment only once per year (photo charters aside). This gave an opportunity to photograph #11 passing the Everett's primary business--freight.

The cut of cars on the right are the railroad's interchange with NS, and in fact, you're seeing a steam locomotive running on NS track (the Everett has trackage rights between DUNCAN--historically WYE Tower-- and their station/yard in Hollidaysburg). The catch is that she's running light to be turned for the next day's family excursions to BROOKS, as the track west of the wye are too short to spin four coaches with the locomotive.
