| DSB 5089, class MF, in Lübeck HBF (Central Station). Danish Railcoaches come daily to Hamburg via the "Vogelfluglinie". This class was build by ABB Scandia between 1989 and 1998. Originally powered with 1176 kW, tengines were replaced 2005 by new Deutz Dieselengines with 1320 kW. the railcoaches reach a maximum speed of 180 km/h and are equipped with Scharfenberg Couplers. Some are equipped with swedish and some with german Train Protection System. |
