Unexpected bedfellows rub shoulders in Longview, TX, as Amtrak GG-1 4906 is enroute to Fair Park in Dallas to join the Age of Steam Museum collection. The GG-1 was traded by the National New York Central RR Museum, Elkhart, IN for NYC Mohawk #3001 which was on display in Dallas since the early 1960's. The G was repainted by the Dallas museum to the PRR broad stripe scheme with it's original number, PRR 4903, and the museum collection now resides in Frisco, TX. 4-14-1984
