                Remarks & Notes
Back on home rails: NYSW SD45 No. 3618 was formerly BN No. 6500 and is seen here in the company of TPW 2050, an SD20u of Santa Fe heritage. They present a rather unusual power lineup on old BN No. 61, the Chicago-Denver intermodal, cruising through the countryside east of Lincoln, NE. Fuji Astia.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
