    Remarks & Notes
Penn Central began revenue operation of the DOT-owned United Aircraft TurboTrains in April 1969. On one of its first runs as PC train 3002 between New York and Boston, a Turbo glides into New Haven at sunset. It was carded at 3 hours 39 minutes for the Grand Central-Boston run.
