"New Life in Pamplin"

N&W 611 leads the Cavalier excursion eastbound through Pamplin, Va., passing the historic Pamplin station as railfans scramble to snap pictures of the locomotive as it passes through town.
The old N&W depot was recently restored by the town and, from what I've read, serves as a library and venue for civic functions.
(Not pictured): CPL's still surround the station and adjacent dead tracks and further down the tracks east of this location.
