One from the archives today! I recall standing on the North 8th Street Bridge in Altoona waiting on a westbound power move lead by the Wabash heritage unit when I noticed something coming up the old freight mains into the yard--four freshly painted units, the two Roanoke AC44C6Ms and 2 fresh SD70ACUs. Apparently, they were being tested on the Siding that runs from HOMER to GRAY, and I just happened to be here at the right time.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
