    Remarks & Notes
Late on a silent night in rural Georgia, a line of former N&W GP9's sit on the Great Walton's Social Circle branch just south of Monroe. After their time of hauling freight across the Appalachians, they worked on the Hampton & Branchville shortline in South Carolina. At their new home, however, their future is uncertain, and it seems as though their days of operation have passed.
