Remarks & Notes

This was once one of the most common rail sights across the country, a plain-vanilla GP7 or GP9 heading up a local freight trailed by a caboose. Not any more! Boston & Maine GP7 eased local freight WI-1 off the Wildcat Branch and onto the mainline at Wilmington, MA, on an early fall afternoon.
