| The majestic Andes rise in the distance as General Roca # 4 heads upgrade. This is the line made famous by Paul Theroux as the "Patagonia Express", even though it was anything but an express. The 250 mile trip took more than a day, if you were lucky. Since 1991 it was only used for charters, and our smay well have been the last. |
