    Remarks & Notes
Traffic in Georgetown encounters an unexpected delay as the "Edwin Brazelton Snead" heavyweight passenger car is moved at walking speed for roughly three miles. This car was formerly the Missouri-Kansas-Texas 400 and has resided at the Texas Crushed Stone quarry for some years. Edwin B. Snead started several quarries in Central Texas, including Texas Crushed Stone. E.B. Snead passed in 1982 and later this car was named in his honor. However, his son, Edwin Desteiguer Snead, would continue the Snead legacy and brought innovative ideas and products to the railroad industry. He passed in 2015, but his ideas still work today at the Georgetown Rail Equipment Company (GREX). He founded GREX in 1993 and his innovations like the Dump Train and Slot Machine are still found working around the country. The car is being moved to the GREX corporate office in Georgetown. Roll-Lift is handling the move with a hydraulic platform trailer. It has a self driven powerpack attachment that is controlled by an operator on the ground with a belt pack, seen walking behind it.
