| At just over 1300 feet long, a very short Q611 rumbles into Opelika with 18 cars in tow behind 3 six axle locomotives. While three locos might look like over kill for such a short train right now, the consist will soon be reduced to only two units once the SD40-2 trailing in the 3rd position is set out in Notasulga as new power for the A746 local. |
