      Remarks & Notes
This was a special excursion to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Southern Ry. and Norfolk Southern steam excursions. Class J 611 and class A 1218 were double headed from Chattanooga to Atlanta. Southern 2-8-2 4501 had been leading but had been removed at Ooltewah, TN. The day was clear and cold.
