Here my father is standing on the west side of Westminster Junction in St. Paul. E9A 9990 is in an early experimental Burlington Northern paint scheme as is passes the tower with an unusual consist of a baggage car and two dome cars. This picture (actually one he took seconds earlier) appeared in the 1972 Burlington Northern Annual. Thanks to Trevor Stewart for looking this up and providing me the train number and date. Amtrak was only 7 days away when this picture was taken.
