The Kalamazoo, Lake Shore & Chicago Railroad acquired the former CSX branch between Hartford and Paw Paw, Michigan in August, 1986.
In 1991, they made a second attempt to run a dinner train, using equipment leased from Transcisco. Here the dinner train is at the west end of Lawrence.
