| It’s late on a warm Fall afternoon, as a southbound UP grainer quickly crosses the San Joaquin river. The continuing work to build the high speed rail bridge over the river can be seen behind both HWY 99 and the UP mainline, which explains the tall crane. It’s been a very dry season thus far but the river still is flowing nicely below.
