| A three-car set of former Reading RDCs bound for Reading Terminal in Philadelphia loads passengers under the trainshed of Penn Station in Newark, NJ, as a Jersey Central train pulls in on the adjacent track. These weekday Budd runs lasted into the Conrail era (which began two months before this photo) as the last vestige of onetime Reading/CNJ passenger service between Philly and Jersey City. |
