| With the chard hillsides and palm trees at Faria Beach providing the backdrop, Amtrak 782 heads toward its next station stop of Ventura on a cool afternoon on the coast. Burned during California's largest wildfire in the state's history, the Thomas Fire, this section of the railroad on the coast line was significantly threatened but managed to come out unscathed...minus a few intermittent tie fires. |
