| Under threatening skies, Q4014, LZ3117 & LZ3109 bring 2025 Aurizon mixed freight into West Kalgoorlie on Tuesday 5 December 2017. It seems likely that the remaining LZ Class units will not see service with Aurizon into 2018, their place being taken by 6020 Class locomotives cascaded from the discontinued intermodal division. This service has also seen change into 2018 with the freight from West Kalgoorlie going straight through Forrestfield and on to Kwinana with the Forrestfield depot closing down. |
