My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin Locomotive Works, and would give our father different builder's cards when he would see him. Today I found out that my father's middle name Robert was named after his great uncle Robert F. Mckee, Sr. Since I am named after my father, I now know the origin of my middle name. Pretty cool having the origin of my middle name to a design engineer at Baldwin Locomotive Works. Here is the "Governor Thomas Jefferson", a beauty built for the RF&P. This BLW builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
