The westbound Delaware & Hudson salt train, carrying empty covered hoppers for the Genesee & Wyoming, has arrived at Hornell, New York with three recently-rebuilt C424m’s leading. Because of a reverse move to reach the G&W yard, two of the Alco’s are being repositioned to the rear of the train, and will act as helpers for the remainder of the trip to Griegsville, New York.
