Against a background of 19th century mill buildings, Boston & Maine train CPSP (Newport, VT, to Springfield, MA, via CP/B&M) crosses the Connecticut River from Holyoke into Chicopee, MA, late on a fall afternoon. A GP38-2/GP9 pairing is on the point and the CP pool power usually found on this train was absent this day.
