| UP 2586 is the lead unit on an extremely heavy Roseville to West Colton manifest seen here rounding the bend at CP Woodford on the UP Mojave Sub. This train was so heavy and so much sand was being blown out of the 2586 that it appeared the lead truck was on fire when it passed; but it doesn't end there. One of the two rear DPUs, UP 6402, was throwing sparks due to wheelslip further up the line. |
