| A trio of EMD power lead 136 cars of pellets south down the CN Missabe Sub for Proctor on a clear winter day. It looks like these EMD's days are numbered as CN has began replacing these older EMD models in the ore pool fleet with their ex-C&NW C40-8s recently. As more of those dash 8's show up with the straight air controls to work the Orinoco system on the ore cars another era will end on the former Missabe with the unique consists of EMD power. |
