In the last light of the day, cogwheel trainsets Bhe 4/6 and Bhe 4/8 just left the summit station of the Gornergrat, heading to Zermatt. It is situated at an altitude of 3,089 m (10,135 ft). The Gornergrat Bahn "Matterhorn Railway", opened in 1898, is the second highest railway in Europe after the Jungfrau railway.
