| Iowa Interstate's daily Council Bluffs to Blue Island road freight (CBBI-17) leisurely strolls through downtown Moline over a layer of freshly fallen snow at a brisk 10 mph with the usual pair of General Electric ES44ACs in charge. The train is utilizing a piece of track known as the Quad City Industrial to reach their Silvis Yard; Owned by the BNSF, it is however dispatched by the IAIS in Cedar Rapids and can become quite a bottleneck at times with that latter two railroads and also the Canadian Pacific all using it. Towering above in the background is the John Deere Pavilion; Built in 1997, it serves as a visitor center and museum for the company attracting over 200,000 visitors annually. |
