Daylight Freight on the Southern Tier
A trio of NYSW yellowjackets ease past a private crossing in Cochecton, NY advancing the SU-100 to Port Jervis where the road crew would assume the responsibility of bringing the train to New Jersey. While normal operations on the Southern Tier occur under the cover of darkness, this run happened during daylight hours as a result of a nor'easter which crippled the area only a few days prior. |
