The old prime mover and generator are carefully lifted out of Union Pacific GE AC4400CW No. 6704 at the railroad’s South Morrill Locomotive Facility on September 14, 2017. During this overhaul, the old generator, still good-order, will be transferred to a new prime mover before being installed into No. 6704.
