          Remarks & Notes
The Texas Chief arrives back on the Galveston Subdivision and accelerates to track speed as the excursion returns to the island. The classic Warbonnet F7s are passing one the few remaining Santa Fe era searchlights along the route, a scene reminiscent of 60 plus years ago when this was a daily occurrence of the Galveston - Chicago train.

The Santa Fe's warbonnet paint scheme on passenger diesel locomotives was one of the most iconic in railroading. It appealed to travelers and modellers alike, and helped brand Santa Fe all the way from Chicago to California and Texas.
