| Greenport's turntable remains in place despite not having turned an engine in well over four decades. The turntable was powered by air supplied by the locomotives themselves, and was rendered obsolete with the arrival of push-pull equipment. On this day, a westward facing locomotive (uncommon on Greenport trains) provides a modern day backdrop to this historic relic. |
