| Q602-01 with a 9500 foot long train of junk freight and double stacks flies into the town of Lee, Florida, for a meet with Q601-02. The ancient side by side Seaboard Air Line signals stand guard as the next to last Q602 to traverse the line rolls past them on an approach signal. Q602 had run on a full sprint out of Tallahassee on almost full running at 55-60mph. This would be my last look at the AC4400 powered road train as it glided off towards the Jacksonville area and a new crew. |
