Remarks & Notes

Missouri Pacific train EFZ, the only daily freight on the former T&P between El Paso and Fort Worth at the time, is seen at Bagdad Siding on the west side of Abilene, TX. The leader was a Missouri Pacific class SD40-2c unit delivered with dynamic brakes and briefly numbered MP 3217 when new in 1975. Southern Pacific power was frequently seen on this train in the early 1980's. 3-6-1982
