Remarks & Notes

A Burlington Northern coal train slugs it out on the grades of Nebraska’s Crawford Hill as the train approaches the top at Belmont on July 3, 1988. Powering the train is GE C30-7 No. 5528, EMD SD40-2 No. 6766, GE U30C No. 5834, Santa Fe GE C30-7 No. 8117 and another BN U30C.
