| This Durban bound container train, headed by Class 18E (Series 1) locomotive 18-088, is seen here at the top of Boughton. The train is about to tackle the very steep gradient down into Pietermaritzburg. This section of the line is one of the most difficult sections on the Natal Main Line with it’s steep gradients and tight curves. |
