As a track crew attends to a switch frog on splendid fall day, Boston & Maine train SPCP (Springfield, MA, to Newport, VT, via B&M/CP) departs the B&M's major yard at East Deerfield, MA, to continue its trip up the Connecticut River line. A GP18 and two GP9s are up front.
