Remarks & Notes

A construction-related weekend power outage on Metro North's New Haven Line led to this sight of an HEP-equipped Amtrak E8 towing a pantographs-down AEM7 and its Washington-bound train through Milford, CT. While E-units kept Amtrak moving through the work zone, FL9s and coaches were subbing for MUs on Metro North commuter trains.
