In the meantime, there are 6 "Girunos" built and running, all for testruns to get the final approval for Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy in the next months. The SBB ordered 29 of this highspeed trains (250 km/h) for the traffic to Italy mainly. RABe 501 # 006 fresh from the factory of StadlerRail is on a test run from Sulgen to Romanshorn, running along the pond at Riedt near Erlen.
