| Amtrak CF7 583 in faded Santa Fe paint has just pushed an outgoing equipment draft from Southampton Street Yard into Boston's South Station, while F40 228 prepares to depart from the adjoining track with a Washington-bound train. South Station was being rebuilt at the time, and a bus terminal and parking garage now sit over the tracks here, making the open-air view a thing of the past. |
