Everett 11 drifts back down the hill after being spun on the wye at Martinsbug Junction, passing a quiet farm crossing. These Steam into the Cove trips are the only times 11 faces north.
When I saw this spot racing the train to the wye, I instantly wanted a crack at it, but preferably from the air. Sadly, I forgot this is within 5 miles of the Altoona-Blair County Airport and didn't have time to spend on the phone with air traffic control to fly my drone here, so that will remain a though for the fall version of this trip.
