Former Conrail SD60I, 5621, renumbered to NS 6744, leads a westbound freight train at Farm. Farm was one of those places where you could really get a feel for the old N&W. With numerous CPL's, double tunnels and the remains of a coaling tower. From this angle you can see the train stretched out through Hemphill Tunnel #2 all the way back to Hemphill Tunnel #1 and curving to the right toward Welch.
