Three cylinder "Pacific" 4-6-2 express train steamlocomotive 03 # 1010 of DB Museum from Halle, is entering V?lklingen with special steam express train 61945 of the Dampfspektakel 2018 from Trier to Saarbrücken. In the background V?lklinger Hütte, a large fromer ironwork, closed in 1986 and now an UNESCO World Heritage site. The 03 # 1010 was built in 1940 by Borsig/Berlin for the Deutsche Reichsbahn, with a maximum velocity of 140 km/h, ran for the DR in the GDR after WW II and is now owned by DB Museum Nürnberg and leased to and operated by Traditionsgemeinschaft Bw Halle P e.V.
