Running east on the westbound track, an Amtrak Regional Express, led by ACS-64 No. 634, sprints past NJ Transit's Hamilton station bound for Trenton, NJ. The reason for the odd running of an eastbound on the westbound track is due in part to an ongoing trackwork in the area to increase speeds through this area from 135 mph to 160 mph by the Fall of 2019.
