| NS 3382 is shoving a cut of cars back down the lead to the classification yard track 12 on this hot May morning. Since humping action was put on idle for almost a year, the SD40-2 has been a power of choice on the bowel side of Debutts Yard for heavy flat switching, and instead of using the one man Remote Control Operator (RCO), switching operation has gone back into the traditional 2 man crew. Still a wonderful sight to see a 48 year old product from Electro-Motive Division still reigning successful in the era of modern day railroading.. |
