Fifty years ago, May of 1968, SP ALCO Hydraulic #9151 led a Pacific Locomotive Association "Truckee Limited" from Oakland to Truckee and back. Held outside of Sacramento on the return trip for three hours because of Bobby Kennedy's campaign train, it got back to Oakland after midnight.
