Scanned image (original on Kodachrome - camera used was a Voitlander Vitomatic) ? Lindsay Bridge from The Lindsay Bridge Vintage South African Railways Collection and submitted here with permission. Lindsay was a passenger on the THE 3OTH ANNIVERSARY BLUE TRAIN SPECIAL (1969) and managed to take this photo of the train with Class 23, No. 2559, at Bloemhof Station. The train had made one of its scheduled stops to service the locomotive. No. 2559 worked the train between Klerksdorp - Kimberley.
